It's a mid-century piece c. 1960s.  the body of the purse is a cream vinyl and it is decorated with a beautiful loopy stitching pattern across the entire front.  The icing on the cake is the frame which is also cream colored carved celluloid, mother of pearl and rhinestones!  The interior is a harvest gold fabric in good vintage condition.  There is some wear to the brass frame and it's not as shiny as it once was.  The purse has one mother of pearl disc that appears to have been re-glued,  please view all of the photos.  It is vintage therefore,  not perfect (some scuffs, dings, etc.) but pretty close!  The measurements are:\n\n13\" high not including handle x 12\" wide x 3\/5\" deep at the base.  The handle addes about 5.5inches to the height. There is the Karl Lagerfeld signature emblem pendant at the end of the belt. This makes a great addition to any wardrobe.  I have read that this was a limited edition piece so not that many were made which helps to keep the value. \n\nplease note, we are showing this as a belt on our dress form. The dress form waist is 27 inches and it just makes it twice around as you can see, but I think this belt\/ necklace can be adjusted easily by changing the location of the loop closure with a jump ring or two.
