This is a truly lovely venetian choker necklace from the 1920s or 1930s. It is adorned with birds and leaves and flowers. This piece is in good condition with the exception that many of the bird groupings have two birds and some only have one. Some of bird groupings also seem to have wire wrapped around the chain in order to keep them in place. We purchased the necklace this way and it is actually a useful addition because one can adjust the various pieces to some extent. The closure is older and functions well. It measures 16 inches long. Please keep in mind one can always add an extender if it doesn't fit perfectly.
